The initiative’s principal objectives encourage students around the globe, ages 15-18, to:  

 

• think critically about the ways in which individual actions and civic responsibilities do or do not contribute to the civic common good

 

• recognize the ways in which individual wants and acts vs. collectivist actions have been prioritized at various points in recent history

 

• consider how civic responsibilities and obligations are seen in nations around the world.
   

• develop action campaigns to define new ways to look at civic responsibility and obligation in our society as we move into the future.
